Well bummer deal! I would love to do a trip to the UP, but not this year. The kids are excited about the sand dunes.
We need to find someone with an airplane...that would be slick!

Worming us humans is news to me. Makes sense we worm the animals.

Our meat chickens were doing that before we shipped them. They even tried to mount the laying hens that came over to see what the excitement was about.

I use black walnut hull on everyone here

yep. me too. free out of the yard! my chickens and everyone else, eat the maggots that eat the black walnuts. and we use DE also.

and yes, i know a lot of people that worm their kids. but with natural methods. people used to say when your kids got squirelly, it was time for wormin'!

Congrats wylie.

We almost got the Seramas coop finished tonight. Sounds like the tractor is bringing it up to the yard right now. A little short on the hardwire cloth. I will have to pick up an extra roll on Thursday. If a racoon can get into this I would be amazed. The outside is siding, then a layer of plywood, then a layer of insulation, then a layer of hardwire cloth, then the interior plywood. That's what happens when you reuse an old rabbit hutch.

I hate to floss too. So it doesn't happen very often. I love it when I go to the dentist and they tell me I have nice strong teeth just keep up what ever I am doing, until they find out I don't floss and back track and tell me I should be flossing every day. I think it is too funny.

See what I mean about worming children? have you never gotten a letter from the school/teacher saying your children "might have lice or pin worms?" as that is the norm in schools in the fall as children play/dig/eat dirt all summer long..( pin worm eggs/larva life in "your" dirt Same way your flocks/dogs/cats get them. More so in rural areas. Then go to public swim pools, gyms, gatherings. ONLY takes one child to sit on a stool, and pass it all over. Just like lice. Same thing with cancer ...when you go out of this county for treatment, first thing they do , is de-louse you internally and externally..both before any treatment as americans no long take precautions against parasites anymore. I am a survivor for 19 yrs.

So next time you go to your doctor, ask about worming your children/family on a regular basis. Dont just ask your vet about your livestock LOL

You can also add juice from the store to the berries to make the jam. I do this with my strawberries, I buy the cheap juice and it make a bigger batch and you really don't taste much difference.
Strawberry/mango

is very good!!!
You could do Rasberry/??? what other flavors does your family like.
This way you might not run out before the berries are back next year.
