Good morning everyone! I'm kind of looking forward to a BIG HUGE snowday! If they cancel school, which they probably will out here, and I stay home from work we'll have a play day! My son is having a sleepover with 4 other 11 year old boys this Saturday. If we have the snow we'll take the boys sledding in the evening and wear them out
Gotta do something to tire out five 11 year old boys, whewie!
I do hope that if we have this snow everyone stays safe and warm. Driving in those conditions is scarey and dangerous. .
No snow here yet...but lately we haven't been getting as much snow as you folks to the west. I hope we get a good one, too. But my other half has to drive down to Warren today to his Mom's...so I sure hope he gets there and back without any troubles.
Does anyone know where I can find a white crested black bantam Polish pullet or hen? The bantam Polish are hard to find.
I've got a bantam cuckoo pullet that I'm willing to trade or sell to get a black.
Hope everyone has a good day. Temps aren't too bad out there this morning. Call me crazy, but I can smell spring already.
I don't mind driving in the snow...I even like taking long drives to see the scenery. My family in Tennessee always love the pics I send home to them. They're still trying to figure out what the heck I'm doing all the way up here.
But then, sometimes, I catch my Mom "bragging" that she's got a daughter that lives up north...like I wear a medal of honor for it or something.
My mom/dad moved up north about 10 years ago and then didn't like being away from their family. Sooo, they moved back down and bought land by me and built a house. I'm grateful that they live by us. But I do remember when they lived up north and we hardly saw them
I haven't seen my Mom in almost 1 1/2 years...words can't describe how much I love and miss her.
I'm the only one in my entire family that lives out of state. My other half's family is all here, and his Mom and I are very close. She comes to visit frequently, but it's still just not the same as having my own Mom around.
Aww, Shelley, you sound like you're a bit homesick! It's hard being away from your mom. I was the only one that moved out of state, also. It was harder on mom cuz I'm the only daughter. She always told me that I was the one that was suppose to stay so we can have lunch and go shopping together. DILs just aren't the same. If we head to TN this summer, we'll take you with us!
It's snowing! Thought it wasn't suppose to start until this afternoon. Hubby has to go to Ann Arbor and then to Detroit today.
Sam, you can have your tiny little omlett today!! You can have a tiny cup of coffee to go with it!
Parakeet laid an egg! Keeping her separated from her mate for a bit. Gave her a drop of poultry drench for a boost. What a relief!
