yes indeed- my neighbors on either side of me and behind me know I have them. But the one neighbor will be the first one on the phone with animal control if I have a loud one who wakes him up...in fact, i didnt even really have roosters- just babies that i could not yet tell who was who, and one had just started learning to crow- I was not yet sure which one it was, and he started giving me, "warnings" over the fence...talking about "I hear you have a rooster now" and "Pretty loud over there now- roosters huh?" *sigh*
Then with the seramas- those roosters were high pitched and determined to wake the dead...ACCKKK! Had to go.
But the male quail I had also were determined to give a large bird a run for their money- crowing goofballs. Something about needing to be quiet here that causes animals AND kids to make more noise. *shrug*
Roosters at my brother in laws will crow enough that she wont have to be the alarm chicken anymore.
