This stupid internal alarm clock of my is in need of some serious overhaul. Why it decides that I need to get up at this ungodly hour is beyond me.

I just went out and checked on the new chicks and they all seem to be quite content and healthy looking. Now I've got to decide on trying to go back to sleep or putting on a pot of coffee.

Good Morning!

Just got done giving the dog a through washing. He encountered a skunk this morning while I took him out this morning. I guess I got to start taking a flashlight with me

On the up side, the dog is nice and clean now! He is whining outside to come in but I want to make sure when he is dry he doesn't have any lingering smells. Baking soda and perioxide did the trick.

Missed out on exersicing and I am bummed....surprising myself!

I guess I am going to make a throw down breakfast for everyone

Opa- I was going to swing by yesterday (we were at the 4-H office) to see all the cute chicks, but I was afraid that the kids pockets would be heavy upon leaving

Boy- you guys surely get up early! I have folks look at me weird with getting up at 5:30am to *gasp* exersice!

I'm waiting for Doug to drive back from Livonia because when he left the house this morning he took all the sets of the car keys with him. Both his truck keys, and both the Escape keys. He's so lucky I like him because otherwise he'd be getting his behind kicked six ways from Sunday!

At first I thought he was playing an April fool's joke, but then realized.....He can't lie to save his own life. Then I ran downstairs and looked for myself after he called, and saw NO car keys.

He's on his way back now, the goofball.

We just adopted an older Shih Tzu this past Saturday actually. Hubby doesn't think we need another dog but I'm always willing to consider

I love animals, what can I say.

Do you raise/breed - besides fuzz-butts?

OH NO! How old is she? What type of breed(s)? Yup, whoever says they don't pee/poop where they lay is silly. You would think they wouldn't but they aren't always that smart

All our puppies/dogs that weren't potty trained did that, ick! I feel for you. Coming home to that is not fun but not much you can do about it.

We've been really lucky. The dog we adopted is 10 years old and a doll! She is caged during the day - DH and I both work outside of home - and hasn't had any accidents in the cage. She just REALLLLLY needs a grooming bad! The family that had her prior to us did not groom her and she is a matted, horrible mess. That is on the schedule for Saturday at the groomer, yay!!!!
