Good Morning All!
I have the day off today and am so grateful!
I just let the chickens and ducks out into the yard and while I was out there I heard the most dreadful screech- sounded like a squeaky gate..I sat there, trying to figure out WHAT neighbor needs to oil their screen door...or gate...and then I saw it. My tiniest bantam cockerel- standing on the back of my park bench- head stretched up proud, announcing the day...

Neighbors no way will be able to figure out that THAT is a rooster crowing...

Today I should go pay my property taxes, do all the weed eating, mow the lawn, mulch the garden, clean the large fowl chicken coop, but the neighbor wants to go fishing. Tough decision. Yeah right. He's picking me up in 10 minutes.

Organic is not the same, it isn't even the same as natural or all natural. There is a whole certifying thing for organic.

Opa, fishing sounds great. Really I love my kids more than anything but they can suck all the fun out of fishing. I'm bored... I'm hot... I need a new lure or worm every 5 minutes. A fishing trip with out the kids sounds like a vacation to me. Can you tell I am babysitting my cousins kids today and they are having a bad day.

Come on 3 day weekend......

Another hot day but at least that humidity is gone!
I spent the day getting lumber and posts for the 2nd run for the ducks. It ended up sucking up half my day, then getting home in the mid afternoon I barely started on the run

I managed the digging for the wire and hammered in two of the fence posts... by then I was over heated and decided that tomorrow morning I will get an early start. Lets see how well that works out for me.

They picked the kids up at 4pm. The baby is cutting her 1 year molars and the 5 year old boy was... having a very red headed day. Actually he is having a hard time with them all moving into a new house. Kids and change, they don't know how to let you know how they are feeling so they act out instead.
