Thanks for the birthday wishes. I was a busy day, but fun! I shot at archery today and got 251 out of 360. not bad considering I haven't shot in a month.

Tonight I went on a bike ride with my sister. We went 7 miles. Her roads are a lot hillier than mine! Teat rode their bikes, since I get to pick one out for my birthday present

A2- We have the Great Harvest Beread company at our county's farmer's markets and their bread doesn't have labels on them for what it is or ingredents. Surprising!

Good Night!

They probably will fight. Only luck I have had is if they had been raised together as chicks.

Okay I mean they see each other through the screen and dont really do anything, I guess I will just let them out with a set of hens and they will only go out every other day...or build another run.

Hiya, Michiganders!

Just stopping by to check in. It's been too long, but summer is so busy... I hope everyone is doing well.

Vicki -- Congrats on the fair results so far!

Kovalciks -- We free-range, but have many roos at once. You can keep them together but should be prepared for the fact that fighting is inevitable and could happen to any degree from minor to very severe. If you're not prepared to deal with that, or that prospect is unacceptable to you, don't put them together. They *will* fight. It's just what they do. And even in what appears to be a minor fight one could end up injured or dead. We've never had a problem to that degree, but it does happen.

Just picked up our order for freezer camp and want to say that the processor on M-71 in Corunna (B&Y?) did an outstanding job. Birds were nice and clean and ready in a few hours from when we dropped them off. We will use them again! And they are only 5 miles down the road from us!

Wow we got a down pour this evening. 2.5 inches of rain in about 35-40 minutes. The grass should green back up now. In the picture you can see all the rain on top of the ground running to the lower part of the yard.

That was a rain measurement from my FIL rain guage.

Morning Sam, and everyone else when they wake up! No painting today, but going to Lansing anyways to spend the day with the grandkids. Hope I can find some energy before I get there. Have a good one.....

Boy was that ever a down pour yesterday. The rain completely over taxed my drain system at work... I had just left for home and they called me back saying we were getting water inside.... turned out they panicked a little.. I had to go up on the roof to make sure the storm drains were clear before the next one hit! What fun!

Could not dampen my spirits though, I got tickets yesterday to see one of my favorite bands! Only 2.5 weeks to wait!
