What a beautiful dog! Worked all day yesterday cleaning out my coop. Scrubbed down the walls and nest boxes with a bleach/vinegar sollution. New shavings on the floor and straw in the nest boxes. Scrubbed the roots, too. Looks brand new. Well, it did last night when I closed it up. I'm sure my girls have left little presents for me all over.
It looks to be another beautiful day today. Hope you all enjoy it.

I'm so sad. I had ordered a couple chicks from a local breeder the beginning of May. First he told me my chicks would be hatching the second week of May. No word from him for a couple more weeks. I emailed back and asked if they had hatched. "Not yet. Soon" was his reply. This morning I finally got word from him that his incubator was broken and my eggs did not hatch and that I should go somewhere else to get my chicks.

I'm very bummed. I might just wait until next year to get more chicks.
