Are you bringing any to Chickenstock? I'm in the market for some cute babies.

For some reason I have had poor fertility with the Vorwerks this year. The eggs under the broody were duds and 13 out 17 were duds from this hatch. I will be bringing all the bantams that hatch, four of which will be these Vorwerks. I may have a few spangled hamburgs and BBS Orpingtons. I also am bringing two month old Orpingtons.

The new incubator sure is nice. I can see every egg and can take pictures without opening it. The Welsummers are hatching but they are in a old styrofoam incubator with 2 small windows. I've been practically standing on my head trying to count how many out of the 22 have hatched. I think it's 14 so far.

I have Dish TV and it always goes out in severe weather so I hopped on the pc to stream the news channel. Of course I have to bop over to BYC while I'm here.

Mostly past now. Still raining pretty good, though. I think my boy is going to be wet when he gets home. He has about a 2 to 3 bike ride to get home.

I would except it would mess up my hat. Still trying to decide if I should wear a big hat or a bigger hat. Since the bout with cancer I'm supposed to try to limit my sun exposure. I need to keep the molting spots in the shade.
