I went out to visit my chickens on my lunch, (work from home), and was almost carried away by the dang mosquito. Where did they all come from??? i"m going to have to bath in benadryl again.

The mosquitoes are terrible here too. The kid and I were out with back woods off on and were still getting swarmed. We had to come in she gets eaten up really bad. She was outside at my mom's yesterday and came back in with 7 bites.

I know the mosquitos are terrible! Yesterday I was out doing some photography practice and was totally eaten alive! I had to come in and bathe in aloe gel to make myself stop itching. Doesn't help I have severe Psoriasis too which makes it all worse!

Hello all-

We are back from vacation- it was great. The ride home was horrible, but we had a great time away.

I have a young turken- cockerel- from Farmerboy- he needs a home.

I am looking for days old silkies or showgirls to stick under my THREE broodies- one frizzle, two silkies.

I am driving to the Milford area on Saturday..I think its Milford- my daughter is at Band Camp at Camp Ohiyesa or something like that...

Does anyone have any babies?

Thanks,

Kim

I have Easter Egger babies that hatched out Sunday morning

I posted an ad in the day old chicks section. We live in Lapeer but I work in Waterford/Pontiac area.

Camp Harvest. Its a Christian Childrens camp. We just finished 12 weeks of summer camp and are currently onto family camp for 2 weeks I think (two camp sessions per week ...sun to wed, wed to sat...)

Its run by a church in Chicago, they bus all their kids in with charter busses, but we do accept local kids too...its an awesome camp. The Church that runs it is called Harvest Bible Chapel.

:: mumble grumble :: My DH took our rescue Nala to the vet today (shepherd mix) and they forgot to clip her nails. So we came and got me and we had to go back which I knew was a bad idea (our miss Nala has anxiety issues and hates her nails cut, amongst other things that make her go batty, which is why we have the vet do it). So we get her there and she panics and what does she do?? Her 65lb butt tries to jump into my lap to escape her fate.... in doing so slicing my arm open with her nails.

(I am on blood thinners so it wasn't pretty)

Its kinda bad when YOU are getting more care at the vet than the DOG. Needless to say...they didn't charge me for the nail trim. :: sigh ::

Ok...I'm done now. I'll go to my corner to sulk in a corner with Caladryl and Neosporyn.
