That's going to be a great mobile coop!

If you type
behind it the picture will show up right here in this thread, too.

chickengrandma, try putting those vanilla scented car trees in your coop. I hve used those and not seen any flies, not sure if it will work on deer flies but I don't have any of those in there either.

babigyrl, congrats on the eggs!

Opa, congrats on the cute babies!

fife, great pics!

Thanks Hillbilly Hen. I still feel really guilty. I couldn't leave the other silkie out to get picked at by the hens so she's in the house. She was picking at my toenail polish while I typed the last post. I can see why people keep silkies as house chickens. They're really endearing.

I know I hate it when that happens

I used to work with some guys who would go to a nearby gym on their lunch hour and play basketball. One guy was quite the talk of the locker room when he forgot that his 6 yo daughter had painted his big toenail bright red.

my stomach is still giving me fits. I was up long enough to let the chickens out today and have been bed-bound the rest of the time. Oh well, LA_LA_LAND is a good place.

Now this is just getting out of hand! The blasted sparrows are eating up all of the chicken crumble and scratch. Then the 5 hens come up to the gate and squawk that they are out of food.
