At the Meijer in Westland, they are in the wild bird food aisle. 3.5 ounces for $3.99 or 7 oz for $7.49.

Here are the fuzzy butts that are going under Blanche tonight.

Hoepfully she accepts them. They were hatched yesterday.

Who wants to make bets on the one in the back being a roo?

This morning inspite of it being hot and humid I went out to pick beans. I told myself that if my parents hadn't brought me to Michigan when I was a baby I would probably still be in the south and this kind of heat is normal. If they can pick beans in the south so can I. Stupid thinking. My beans have produced so heavy that it took me 2 1/2 hours just to pick on row. When I can in a close to 1pm I was starting to really suffer from the heat. For a few minutes I didn't know if I could make it up the stairs. I think tomorrow I will pick more just as soon as its daylight.

Ok, so the hatch has begun (eggs from Wynette) - started last night about 8p.m. - any ideas on how long this could take? - I'm not sure how long after the first one is hatched that Henrietta will stay with the eggs...thanks!

Huston...my broody stayed for over 3 days hatching before she quit. Don't know if that is standard or not. Love Wynettes Jerseys. Did you get jerseys or one of her other breeds?
