Lol. My daughter tried to microwave an egg a few months back. It didn't explode in the microwave like yours did so she thought she had figured out how to cook them in a microwave. She took it out and just as she was about to show her siblings, the egg exploded all over her. I was working so I didn't get to see it first hand, but the re-telling was hilarious!

ChicwannaB - I did the same a few years back but only with a hard boiled one! My kids like them warm and I guess I should of cut in half before trying to warm it. We all have messy lessons like that!! lol

Chickflick...that sure was a lot of running around! How early was it?

It was a bit before 10am. All that without the compression stockings on. Gonna feel it later on! Be glad when I get my leg "fixed" lol. It might have been a falcon. Still trying to identify it. Just scary.

Between those two stories I almost spit out my drink!

I do microwave eggs, but I break them into a bowl and scramble them first. I'm not a morning person so if the kids want a hot breakfast it's got to be easy or it's just not going to happen. I freeze pancakes and waffles and breakfast burritos for the same reason!

Everything you could want to know except how much it costs to get in, which I'd like to know.

My daughter lives about 8 minutes from the Expo Center and it might be fun to go.

Cost to walk into the building and spend the day looking around: zero. We would appreciate it if maybe you bought a hot dog or raffle ticket while you were there.

Thanks for the info! It ususally costs something just to walk in! I'll be sure to spend some money there!

Yesterday I sold 4 doz. eggs for $2.50 each to my only paying customer. She is keeping 2 doz. and giving a doz. to two friends she thinks will want to buy from me also. I'm getting between 7-9 eggs per day and still have one FBCM who is not laying of my 13 hens. Some of them are still smaller EE pullet eggs, but my BRs and ISAs lay pretty good sized eggs. I get my cartons from friends and family and everyone gives them back to me.

I looked at that beautiful octagon coop and swooned. Wonder how much it would cost to build?
