Soon we'll be off to Frizzledhen's place to see what she has that I need. Hopefully the rain will hold off til we're home!

Yesterday we totally and completely cleaned the yard. All wildflowers, all grown up grasses and weeds. Stuff that needed to be done for a couple of years. I figured while I was feeling decent, time to get things done. I mostly burnt stuff in the barrel and ran truck fulls to the wood dump. Now I can see all my birds from the kitchen window woohoo!!!

Although I'm kinda sore from all the work, it's good to walk outside and see how wonderful it looks! I love hard work!!

I like it because I can't do it very often!

Had a nice visit with frizzledhen. We picked up a big feeder which we desperately needed, a waterer which is much better than the plastic one we have and a really nice pool. I LOVE the pool because it's a Little Tikes, it's long and has a sprayer like a fountain. The ducks didn't know what to think of it at first but once the first duck got in that was all it took!! We made out really well by going there. Thank you so much Gayle!!! It was great to see you again!!

First they just walked around it. Then they began drinking out of it. No one bothered to get in for a while!

Then all it took was one!!

Polly loves the bigger size of this pool so she could just sit there and float while everyone else goes crazy!

Meanwhile, Gandalf digs a new spot for his dust bath. He looks like he had too much to drink LOL
