Hey Nova, I hope I didn't offend you by suggesting you look for help. I know your pretty self self sufficent and very independant.....something to be proud of!! I just recalled you saying that your dad helped you out at times and I'm sure you miss that. I sure miss my dad's help and all his cut & dry, get to the chase advice. It sounds like you got things all under control!

ChickenGrandma, I wish you were closer as I am all the way over on the other side of the state. I am looking for a couple of potential reliable layers as my ornamentals are complete slackers in the egg laying department I hope to get some at the Birch Run Fowl Fest.

Taprock, Welsummer eggs are normally large to extra large and they will vary from a dark terra cotta color with light speckling to a lighter terra cotta with heavy large speckling. All of the speckled eggs in this basket are from Welsummers.
