Blueberry hatched her first chick this evening!! It's a FBCM with little feathered legs. I didn't get to look at it's face...just fuzzy little butt and legs. Hopefully I will have more tomorrow.

Bonus... a pip in the bator!

Another cool sunny morning is about to start here in the Top of the Ozarks. Joe must attend a dog show today so I am going to go have breakfast with Scott. Then I am going come back to Joe's and work on his honey do list. Congrats to all this months award winners

Good Morning!

I woke up to loud chirping from the bator.

One little one hatched this morning and it looks as though there is another pip. So maybe another will hatch today. In checking on Blueberry I still only hear one little peeper underneath her (I think). Once this little one in the bator is all dried off and fluffy I will take some pictures. My friends kids will be so excited when they eventually wake up. They got here too late to see all the other chickens.
