Whats Crossroad?
My hen finally decided to start laying again! YEAH! I heard her do the egg song this morning and ran out to find out where the heck she is laying them since she hasn't been laying in the box... Well, I found her in the trees and no egg/nest anywhere. I am thinking she sure found a great hidey hole. I went out this evening to do the nightly count up as we have a hawk thats been hanging around and I see all this pine shaving on the ground. What the heck! I just cleaned this whole area up, how did they do that! So I open the door by the nest box and looky looky there is an egg! About 7 hours after the egg song she finally lays it! Silly Buffy.
I have 3 potential people interested in my roos. I do have pictures, but I am not bothering to upload tonight. There is a lady who saw that they are free and NOW she is interested. Didn't want them when I was asking 10 bucks for them... NOTE 10 for all 3, not 10 a peice. I don't really care, well I do, but she has silkie hens and wants to try her hand at breeding them. I am hoping she'll trade a pullet. I would like one more girl. NO MORE ROOS. If she doesn't show up, I'll get the boys photo session on my page.
Neighbor had a beautiful gray/blue wyandotte roo go missing. I was hoping to steal him and throw him in with my dotte girls next spring for a week or two. Oh well. They have 1 dotte roo left, and they don't want to share him. Want to keep him with their dotte pullets. BUMMER! Oh well. Would have made it a lot easier than getting my own roo.
My kid got into trouble at school today. Him and his best bud Doug decided that they didn't need to be quiet. They were talking from their seperate tables during letter practice. Jace is at the star table and Doug is pentagon table. Doug is the only boy at his table, because both the boys couldn't do their work at the same table with out "clowning" around. LOL. I am so happy he has a buddy. They are good kids. Just horsing around. LOL. GO JACE! He's in kindergarten.
