Yesterday at the orchard, in addition to the apples we bought for eating, I also bought a 1/2 bushel of deer apples for $5. When we got home and opened the bag we found they weren't in very bad shape. They were windfalls so they were bruised but we decided we needed them more than the deer do. Hope and I peeled, cored, and sliced them and managed to put 10 six cup bags in the freezer.

I was supposed to go fishing again at Flat Rock today but we cancelled due to the forecasted rain that never materialized. Going to go tomorrow. The weather man says no rain but cold, with my luck it will probably snow on us.

So unless the girls go into the rafters, the garage coop is done. I don't think they will go into the rafters as there is only a small opening where a chimney once was.
My major concern is that I didn't get the TV moved yet. It is still on the inside. I have this awful image of the girls fighting over the remote all night.
