I don't have many pictures of the younger half of my flock so I was out snapping some this morning. Thought I would share a few. The sun didn't help the pictures out but it is finally getting rid of the frost outside!
Left to right: Wellie, Summer (welsummers), Ms. Lorp (Black Austrlorp, Blackberry (Blue Cochin), Chippy in the back (polish/EE), Boots in the front (d'Uccle), Boo (Salmon Faverolle), Tilly (Ameraucana about to go in the freezer if he can't find a home), Dot (Polish/EE)
Pretty much the same birds except Ms. Maran the Cuckoo Maran in the middle and Boysenberry next to her the Cochin
Lemon (Ameraucana), Brownie (Production Red), Soren (Ameraucana who just started laying)
This is Little Miss Moppit who amazingly escaped the dog attack two weeks ago and spent the entire day out in our back field somewhere. She is so sweet and since her buddy the silkie is gone she has done well on her own. She actually now roosts with Brownie the production red.
Enjoy the day everyone it looks like a nice one here.
