btw... The ducks are adorable. They totally freaked out the chickens until we got them in the coop. That was something. All the chickens just stopped. Completely froze. Then they took off for the neighbor who doesn't have chickens.

that neighbor says she loves to watch them in her backyard. Thinks they are great.

Yay! Congrats on all the colors.

I love it when I get my green, pinkish, and purplish, too.
BTW, a chicken friend of mine told me to color the brown eggs anyway because the colors are more vibrant.

no kidding. Did not know that.

Had a guy try and tell me today that once Skatter laid for a while she'd quit laying green eggs. That only new chickens laid that color. Huh? Yeah.... No.

Wow. If that were true I think I'd cry. I love getting the unique ones. My green comes from my EE Pretty Girl and right now they are striped. Dark green/light green. I was like 'that's weird' the first time I saw it like that, but she's been laying them like that for a few weeks now. I guess she's the artsy one of the group.
