Well, not real local. She is in Capac. She works in Lapeer and can possibly meet there with your order. We go into the Thumb alot (my in laws live that way) so oing to Capac is not out of my way.

Yeah I do. I have nesting boxes that are similar to milk crates, do I can move them. I move them here they lay, and they have actually shoved them out of the way! I keep going in the a putting the hens in the boxes. They look at me like "What the heck are you doing?"

Both BLAs laid an egg today. Nugget and Gravy can stay.

However, only got 1 egg from the 4 big girls. Not complaining tho', I've received a dozen since Saturday, so they deserve a break. Broil has been a machine she she started in September, this is only the second day of no egg from her. Funny how you can tell whose egg it is when you have a small flock.

Caught a break from the professor today. A research paper was due today and he postponed it until next Monday. So happy, since I only just started the research yesterday while watching football and drinking beer. Looks like a few all-nighters in the near future.

Angela, my faverolle hen will not lay in pine shavings, but she will lay on hay or straw... Might b they do not like what's in the nest box... Might not like the type of box... Or they just enjoy yer frustrations and talk about it all nite long. Hehehe.

What a day. I talked the the people about the duck fence situation. Turns out it was the hubby who did it. He's an idiot anyway.

Got a pool for the ducks. I put peas in it for then to fish out. That was cool. They started talking, excited by the pool and the treats in it. Can,t wait till spring. Give them minnows!

My goes are in the garage again. I gotta find a butcher around here. I think I am going to just take the two under cover roosters to get dressed for a camping expedition. I am half tempted to prep Oscar too. Rotten boy. Lol. He is so cute tho. I just can't tell jace. He says we can't eat his chickens. Oops.

Does anyone read Stephanie plum novels? They finally made the first one into a movie. Comes out in January and I can't wait! If my dad were still with us, we'd be first in line on opening day!
