I was a bit surprised to see the name of the town you are from because that happens to be the name of my great-nephew.

This spring I am going to deliberately hatch some mutt birds. One of my egg customers brought me a young bird that had showed up in their yard. I told them that I would keep it until they could locate the owner. No one in their neighborhood has chickens and it has been several months that I have had it. I initially thought, a time has confirmed that the bird is a rooster.

He has grown into a beautiful Salmon Favorolle and I have him in with my rainbow flock. I think that it would be interesting to see what colors develop from the variety of matings. All chicks are beautiful and they might develop into so beautiful hens.

I probably will hatch some more Welsummers as well as bantam Vorwerks and bantam Blue Orpingtons if anyone is interested.
