Chickmate....neat Christmas Chicken card!! Thanks for sharing.

It is just hard to believe you all are talking about shoveling snow and we have NONE here!! Plus...it was 43 degrees and sunny today. My pooch and I had a glorious walk.

Last year when DH was away on his hunt trip this time...we got clobbered with snow and I had to get a neighbor to plow me out. This is delightful....no wadding thru snow....no shoveling...just wish it was like this all winter here and we would be in paradise.

This is a wonderful group.....I know I will probably say it again but I will do it now since Chickmate got it going...."Merry Christmas"!! I wish everyone a wonderful time with family and friends over the holidays and happy chick buying and egg hatching in 2012!!!!

Bunni, that was a beautiful memorial to your Billie. I lost our sheltie a couple of years ago. Nikita was 15 yrs old. It was so hard, she definately was a member of the family. Give your hubby a great big hug from me. Heading home from Lansing. It's been a long day and can't wait to get home.

Losing a dog is always tough. I had a JRT that I had to put down a couple of years ago and I still get misty eyed when I think about her. I had a couple of wives for about the same length of time and I still don't miss them.
