I know, it's amazing. Complain about the cold, but I love watching the chickens or even the wild birds flitter, is that a word?? , around. I also love taking the dogs on a walk on a cold, sunny crisp day. At least I'm not sweating! Lil Rosie is a cutie. Good luck on the hatch!
I know it's hard for you Raz! But you've been very good. There is a light at the end of the tunnel. You can go to bed tonight and dream of Jan 3 when you can let it all out.

1muttsfan- Those are some cool looking chickens. I wish I could have some roos, because the girls are pretty, but the boys are really handsome. Please post pics after they hatch and as they grow. Where did you get them from? Are they an all climate breed?

Keyt- Nice to see you on here. Hope you enjoy Rosie, she's a pretty little piggy.

Got 3 New Hampshire, 3 Black Australorp chicks hatch and moved to a tub with 3 chicks that are 3 weeks old. The older chicks are scared of the newly hatched chicks.

The older chicks are 2 Light Sussex, 1 blue rumpless Araucana.

Don't worry Raz, just a few more days. I have a luncheon to go to in Lansing on the 2nd and hoping to swing in and reserve the spot. Then you can return to being mean to me.

Oops sorry oh Great One

There are people in canada that raise EO's, they report no cold susceptibility. They are good layers of XL tinted eggs, and the boys get up around 8#. And they are super friendly right from hatching. They are also good foragers.

I still have 8 alive and kicking. If the lemons hatch I'll bring them to you (at least a couple cuz I want one LOL) at chickenstock if you're there.

If I don't get ANY I'll be getting a different incubator and selling this one.

Remember, don't give up just yet. You never know, you could be wrong and have some alive in there. Like I said, unless you absolutely see clear and no veins.
