Have you tried one of those pop bottle waterers (?) for the rooster that spills his water? If it works then its worth putting 2 small holes in the side of the brooder to be able to fasten the bottle. Or if he's big enough, I put my baby duck's water on a platform with a pan underneath to catch the mess. I use a ramp to the platform and even very young ducks have no problem getting to it.

The problem is not that he drips water, the problem is he takes his big clod feet and scratches at it until he tips it over. I even put it up on a platform and he still found a way to tip it over. I think he gets a thrill from tipping it over and getting everything wet. If I didn't know better I would swear he was half
duck !!!!!

lol! I changed the position ofthe feeding station, so they can more easily get at it from all sides. See if it stays in the seats upright position for the remainder of the flight... I mean the remainder of the broody stay.

I scored a sheet and a half of inch thick exterior grade ply! :woot :weee oh yeah! So, I need to get a few 4x4s for legs and 2x4s for framing... Not much though, and wheels. I want this baby on wheels. Lol.

Ummm, Nova, are you sure you're taking from the scrap pile?

Nova, forgot to mention the PO is offering temp (TE) positions, or so they told us, My grandson applied and hasn't heard anything yet. you go on line to apply. I work out of GR PO. usps.gov.com I think..They pay well, treat you like a machine, I think the TE's are getting a lot of hrs.
