HERE IS A PICT OF SOME WHEAT SPROUTS / SEEDLINGS I'M TAKING OUT TO THE GIRLS IN A LITTLE BIT . tHEY HAVE BEEN GROWING FOR ABOUT A WEEK. I DON'T PUT A DATE ON THEM WHEN I START THE PROCESS ANYMORE. I SIMPLY TAKE THEM OUT WHEN THE TIME IS RIGHT. THAT DEPENDS ON SEVERAL CONDITIONS. i TOOK SOME OTHER PICTS THE OTHER DAY OF THE SET UP. ANY ONE INTERESTED ?

Well this has been a sh#tty day. I lost my first two lambs of the season. I went out early to check the sheep and I seen this one in labor. I went closer to check her over and seen she had cast her withers (uterus out) without the lambs being born first. Ran back in and called my friend to come over and help me, I already knew the lambs were dead but we needed to get them out of her and get her uterus back in. What a job it was. In all my years of having sheep this is only the second time this has ever happened. Once in there to get the lambs out we found what the problem was. The first lambs head was turned and it got stuck. It took us well over an hour to get the first one turned properly and get it out. Then the second one had to be waaaay up where we couldn't hardly reach it. What a job !!!! Mom is in a pen resting now. Just hoping she makes it.
Oh well, the joys of farming.

RBahmer, so sorry about your sheep; I've never heard of this before. We have goats and am now wondering if this can happen to them too? It's probably quite rare I expect.

I would recommend a cordless or the corded with the "FLEX SHAFT" ! Have you considered one of those cordless that is made for doing pet toe nails? theyare "pedi paws"

Dont waste money on "pedi-paws" they dont work. Clients come in to work complaining that they wasted their money on those,. ALL THE TIME.

Sorry to tell you but I have seen it in cows , sheep, and goats. I do believe some of my problem is I overfeed my sheep. I just don't like to see skinny sheep.

Ingredients: Organic Corn, Organic Roasted Soybeans, Organic Oats, Organic Spelt, Organic Barley, Organic Wheat, Poultry Mineral Concentrate, Calcium Carbonate, Organic Kelp, Organic Molasses.

Unfortunately there isn't a nutrition value listed on the website or the bag. The feed came from Raub-Rae Farms in Brown City, MI. There is an e-mail address so I have to send them a note to find out.
