Yes, i think you got it! I thought they had poufy faces, though? Even though we didn't get much time together, he was the sweetest thing, snuggling my hand and talking with funny sounds. They must be a nice breed. I am kinda sad that there are no more here.![]()
You can't really tell by that picture, but I have a another where you can kind of see part of one of their faces and the cheeks were a bit poofy. It became more pronounced as they got bigger. When I got them last year, I bought them separately because there was only 1 at the TSC I got my first my bantams at so I got the other one a day or so later at a different TSC. They were the sweetest chickens to have. The girl always came running when she saw me and she would just stuff her little poofy face with whatever treat I had. Unfortunately, we lost her to a skunk. I was so sad, but I was able to track her down and bury her. And her brother, Frenchie, was one of the two recently lost, as well. It's unfortunate, but they ran so slow because the feathers on their feet just slowed them down so much it made them easy targets.
