I need help converting the Canada metric terms to American terms for the treatment- 500mg of tylan soluble powder per 1 litre of tap water. The tylan solution must be at 5 degrees for the process to work.

I have the best rooster ever! Roger that is! Roger has been sticking to Leila like glue since she came out of the nest coop. Also, Fiametta sleeps in the garage with them. Mr. Fluffers comes in the garage and does his little sexy rooster dance at Fia, but she plays all coy and is having none of him while Roger is around. So funny the little hussy. Well Fia is throwing a fit cuz fluffy mcfluff-pants is not leaving her be. Roger, my sweet little Roger, who normally runs from Mr. Fluffers, attacked him! It was a total wow moment! Daron - one liter is a quart or 32 oz.
One gallon would be four liters. So does that mean you would use 2000 mg of tylan per gallon?

I have no idea how to measure the 500mg to U.S terms too.

Is there a metric conversion table online some where?

Farmer boy, that amount is strictly by weight. You will need a digital kitchen scale you can convert to kilograms and because of that there is no way to say how many tsp or tablespoons it equates too. Good luck. You will need 2 grams for 4 liters.

I use this site so much that I have it book marked.

One litre = 4.22675 cups (4 1/4) or 33.814
500 mg = 0.5 gram = 0.0176 oz.

Just to be sure, its 2 grams for a gallon, right?
