I am so looking forward to today! I have an appt for my mom, and I am going to be very naughty and stop at Touchstone Dreamers for some pipedream cones. (or, ColdstoneCreamery for some icecream cones. Auto correct)

We settled for Captain Sundae today! I had to bring my youngest to Holland today and DH suggested a stop afterwards. We love that place. Yum!

What a beautifully awesome day it was. We spent most of our day in Holland/Grand Haven so the chickens didn't get much outdoor time today. They had to wait for my other kids to get home from school to go out. They all looked so happy when we got home that it was a same to coop them back up early because of church, but they got a good 3 hours. Alot of them were pecking around in our garden area today much to DH's delight.

The weather was very nice today! Almost 80 degrees! I am so not ready for that high temp! Was sweating while working in the backyard!
Guess what came in the mail today!

It was really nice day here in Michigan. (80s)
Started some yard work, Like taking the swimming pool and restoring the yard.
Of course the flock had to come and investigate. worms for every one!
I'm hoping to reuse the side walls of the swimming pool as roofing material
for some chicken tractors I plan on building and then selling.
Stopped by the Family farm store for some turkeys, but no luck.
Slim pickens on any chickens, this week.

Watching Larry the cable guy on the History channel wrangle feral hogs. What a hoot. Picked up DE and cleaned the runs and duck yard. Spread poo and compost on garden and the chickens went behind me and worked it all around for me. I may have gotten my first sunburn of the season.

$5 a piece for the chicken ornements that CR makes. I want some, but he says it might be cheaper on the shipping if there was more than just me who wants them. I just want 5 of them, and am willing to get more for who ever wants and bring them to chicken stock.

Yup, them are just like mine when I had Emu. Huge. And people think duck eggs or goose eggs are hard to crack. They should try these or an ostrich egg ( I HATE Ostrich ).
