Good Morning.....oh, I hate days when I over sleep. Thankful to my DH who took 1st child to school who'll only be a little tardy. Getting 2nd child ready and running my to do list for today through my head.

zinc chewable lozenges i was going on about to get rid of colds
They do work, my dad use to get a mess load from work, and we always had on hand at home.

Oh your daughter is adorable M.Sue
Thank You.....she sure loves her horses. I'm glad I figured out how to re size them....much less space taken up.

going down to the 50s and 60s. It's still going to be quite nice.
That is what I was hoping for. It's perfect for cleaning the coop. I didn't want to do it when it was so hot and I would of but I didn't really get enough time. Hope the rain holds off when I decide to do it.

I prefer a more robust flavor like Folgers Black Silk.
That is one of my favorites. I never drank coffee until 3 years ago when the doctor told me I should has as much caffeine as possible. So I made myself drink it like medicine for 3 months and hated it. Then for about 6 months I tolerated it. It took a year but after that if I don't have some in the morning, the morning just feels off.

Jerusalem Artichokes are tubers.

At our former home I found some and didn't know what they were and tilled them up.

They are now everywhere, but the weird thing is I miss them now, no cheery flowers after the first frost. I was considering moving some here and DH told me I was crazy after all the years I tried to kill them. Same with the Virgina Creeper.

Did not sleep well last night, pesty child, thunderstorm, checking eggs. I had three eggs pip a bit early. At 5 when I tried to go back to sleep I had chick dreams. I have no idea what chick dreams mean but I had three of them including: my son getting into the incubator while they were hatching and them dying, hatching a two headed chick, and trying to transfer hundreds of chicks between brooder boxes.

I think I need the coffee.

busy busy busy! So glad for the warm weather! I've gotten a bunch of things done that I thought Id have to wait till summer got here to do!
Have all the flower gardens all cleaned out, re edged and re mulched. Got the Harley's out, washed and been riding! New exhaust on the challenger and performance tune done and she sounds great!

Got eggs in the bator
Got a turkey going broody
Got 6 lionhead kits born the other day!
Got some pussy willow sticks and some curly willow sticks that are rooting out!
Got the life, this week anyway!

Hope everyone is doing as well, or better than I am!

Not sure I can wait till June to see the new snow white movie though.... Looks like a good one!

I was too exhausted and don't think I had any but DD told me on the way to school that she had this weird dream....We were at the barn and all the chickens were with us. Her trainer told her that we really needed to FIX the chickens or something....that they didn't look right. She said I then had one of the horses roll over on her little bantam Sparrow. She was flat as a pancake and supposedly that was how a chicken was suppose to look!! lol

I'm graduating with my vet tech degree in a couple months...does anyone know of any animal hospitals/veterinarians in the Charlotte/Lansing/Eaton Rapids area (and surrounding) that are looking to hire a tech? Or know a place that might need one but isnt officially hiring? I am doing a day of resume distributing next week and wondered if there were any in particular that I should visit. Thanks in advance for any info you might have. :)

I'm not in the area but CONGRATS and hope you land a position with some clinic!!

I have tried and enjoyed several of the Kona coffees. The Maxwell House Pacific Island blend is a little light for my tastes. I prefer a more robust flavor like Folgers Black Silk.
That's what I buy DH ever since a friend recommended it. He seems to like it.

And mine have told me the opposite. And they are right, a glass of regular cola twists my stomach into knots. I guess I am fortunate in that I don't really care for coffee though sometimes, at a really find restaurant, it can smell heavenly.

Is anyone here a birder by chance? I can't get enough of birding!

Michigan is perfect for it!
I have noticed many birds over the years, in fact I once started a list but I'm not that avid apparently. I do notice when I've seen a bird I've never seen before.

It's raining here, one small thunderstorm cell passing over us. Probably won't be enough to really penetrate far. The newest forecast is making me nervous though, Sunday night 32, Monday night 28. My lilacs and roses have started leafing out. This may not be pretty.
