Oops, I guess I forgot to finish my thought...I was saying that I'd never thought to do that w/garlic in foil, but that's a good (and probably way cheaper) method...You just cut off the dry outside part, or actually the tops of the cloves themselves? I've never tried this. I used to buy from this bakery a totally awesome bread that was baked with whole garlic cloves in it...It was so good I just ate it by itself.

One day sure generates a lot of posts. Reading all of them can wear an old feller right out.

My Dad loved his visit to Hawaii. Said if the prices were reasonable, he would have liked to live there. He could not believe the $5 bread. They, (him and his best bud, like a bro, Don) rented a efficiency apt for the week they were there. They ate as cheap as possible. Said that some things were more expensive to buy there to eat than what it would have cost them to eat at BK three times a day when they were on the road truck driving. I couldnt imagine...

tried to post a GIF showing how chickens reach market weight much faster today compared to 1950 but it didn't work.

Finally figured it out. While I was well of this the visual is still impressive.

Second Uggo is out- its a naked neck Uggo, yellow fluff (or what will be fluff, when its dry) and the other one is more brown, and is silkie chick-esque..neck isnt naked.
Guess that answers my question on what two chicks were the Uggo chicks in the last batch..this one that isnt naked neck looks just like two of the ones that hatched last week.

OH- one Uggo- the second (third?) generation has hatched.
One to go.

turken from Farmerboy mated with my silkie/sizzle/frizzle....created the Uggos. Uggo mated with Silkie/Frizzle/Polish created these...so.....

If we could get a celebrity like say, Tori Spelling to adopt an Uggo then the breed would become an overnight sensation and you could go down in history Mom2.
