Morning!! I want to go back to bed as well. I left this place at 9 pm last night, and right back here at 7 am. YUCK. Hopefully my 2nd interview w/that clinic goes well today so I can tell this place to shove it.
The Amish have a pretty ideal lifestyle in my opnion, except I'm not really down with the religious part. Nothing against that, just not personally interested in that aspect of it.
Wow that's morbid lol...that's kind of like commercial turkeys these days too. They are bred to have such gigantic breast meat that the male turkeys cant even mount the females to breed and they all have to be artificially inseminated. A wild turkey would probably seem puny in comparison (Ive never had one, but would love to).

Haha, yea, I hear that. Technology is useful, and don't get me wrong I like the internet and I love my playstation, but I would give all that up to live the way the frontier people did. Sounds corny I'm sure, but honestly I love history and I'd rather be living in any other time period in history than the current one we're in. That being said, I agree about medical technology...it would suck to die from a toothache or something, haha! Oh well, I can dream, and I live vicariously through books.Agreed! All my friends have told me I am grandma like and one says I should be Amish. I don't think I would mind.I have an old spirit I guess. Let's make a village like "The Village" without the creepy 'things we do not speak of' beasts. Oh, and modern medical attention if needed.![]()

Nothing against that, just not personally interested in that aspect of it.We always used to "joke" that you know you waited a day to long to butcher them if their legs start breaking. It was gross and sad.![]()
