Not sure if anyone has read this story or not, about the 'Eggless Chick'. A few reports have called the chick a 'miracle'.

Sounds more like she was egg bound and no one noticed.
Not exactly something I would call a miracle, but that's just my opinion.
The hen died from internal injuries, the chick is said to be fully formed and healthy.
Here's the larger small mammal with her tool bench and birdhouse-to-be. It was a great tool in understanding the point of measurements, I explained the way it was written in the book and how that enabled us to make all the pieces the right size even though the pictures were small, learning how to measure, handwriting practice, and probably a hundred other tiny things that she learned that I am oblivious to.
Read 43 posts this morning and when I got back on this evening there were 231 more!!
So, I just have to say:
Angela - CONGRATULATIONS ON THE NEW JOB!!
Silly - Happy birthday!!
RaZ - So glad your dog wasn't hurt. Sounds like that piece of wood saved her! Hope the sewer problem is easily fixed.
Juise - Wasn't me!! I find your posts very entertaining and have not seen anything I found offensive at all. Hope whoever it was will PM you to clear it up.
Nova - Please keep your autocorrect turned ON. Never laugh so hard as when I try to figure out what you are trying to say.
Thanks for the offer Raz, but I already have the wood for all of them, and the boards for the bird houses are already even measured and marked out, the only reason I haven't gotten them done is because I haven't gotten around to cutting the wood, and that's because... well... my husband unplugged my scroll saw and carried it away, he said I needed either to move my saw or the toaster, but he was sick of sawdusty toast.
I haven't figured out where to set it back up yet, I was pretty happy with it on the back porch, since I could use it while still being able to see my kids inside, without them being in danger from flying things, it's enclosed, and obviously it isn't something I can run while my littles are asleep, so I need to be able to keep an eye on them while working. Bah.
Anyway, my little lady worked very hard measuring and drawing, and is excited to build one or both of the bird houses herself, so it would break her heart if we just bought one. My Dad built them a lovely toolbench for Christmas, and she wants nothing more than any excuse to use it, hehe.
Also it's supposed to be part of our bird curriculum, and I have been postponing the entire subject because of this, so I better get it done soon.
At my work, it would run approximately $260.oo My advice- if you see that it is cancerous, and you plan on doing chemo or stem-cell then definitely have it done. If it wont change the outcome, then let it go.
I hope u can figure out whats right for you and yours- and I hope you get a long time togetber.
I tell my kids the same thing. When my 12 yr. told me he was gonna get a tattoo & get his ear pierced when he turned 18 and was an adult I told him that was fine if that is what he wanted. It was his body, his choice not mine, although he might regret it later in life so think it over carefully when the time comes. I also said that ear piercings were easily reversed but a tattoo is permanent & he might it regret later in life. No one likes a wrinkly saggy ta too!! lol
This is too funny.... I just read the the post that states Raz a tattoo....no offense to anyone pertaining to my opinion to my 12 yr. old
My son got his tattoo when he was sixteen and so did my daughter. Didnt want it, but I listened to them for a year and so I was done. My son was going to let the guys on the corner do it. I took him to the shop where I got mine done. Its a quote in honor of his late father.
My daughter got a butterfly on her shoulder- I got the same one. It has a torn wing- I believe I showed you all a picture from my garden last year. Actual butterfly from my garden. And the word, 'survivor' under it. Holds a very special meaning to me, and to her as well- for something truly horrific that she endured and survived. I took alot of flack for allowing it, but
