I'm going to call around and talk to some other breeders about it. It's a really pretty chick and comes from outstanding lines...so I'd like to use it for breeding. Unfortunately (the way I understand it) with splash you sometimes get the white pigment because of the white color mixed in with the solid color...makes sense. I'm going to try to find out if it's even worth keeping and breeding or if it'll keep popping up if I use it in my flock. I have more chicks hatching out right now...speckled sussex and silkies...so we'll see what happens. Either way the little cutie will hang out here until chickenstock.I know you are disappointed but that baby is so stinking cute!!!! I want him!!! Too bad. I think you live quite a ways away... Otherwise I would steal him out from under you!!!

Oh man I know!! It was soooo windy on the way to and from Kentucky this past weekend!! About blew me off the highway a few times!!WILL SOMEONE PLEASE SHUT THE WIND MACHINE OFF!!!!!!!!!!!! MAN, THIS IS GETTING SO OLD!!
I missed out on a bunch of posts while I was gone...like 500-some...don't you people have lives?
