In the time I have been in this thread, I have seen an awful lot of "off topic" subjects come through, but you are right, this is a social thread, and talking about other things than strictly chickens is one of the way we connect with each other.

I think you started all of the "off topic" subjects.

Is there a "gamer" website ? You Know, Like there is one, actually more, for Back Yard Chickens? nlol. I really did come here to find and share info about Chickens. Mine happen to be in a back yard but i don't mind finding out about other types of raising/caring for them. I'm seriously beginning to think I don't have time to wade through all the posts offered in order to find those regarding chickens. And yes, I know this is a SOCIAL thread. Sorry if I offended you and I don't want anyone to be hurt by this post.....but there must be others who are of like thought. IMO Bob

Yeah this really is the social thread. If you have a specific question or problem the people in here are great with answers. But if you're looking for more information about chickens specifically and only chickens it would probably be easier to check out the rest of the forums and forum sections that are more on topic like Managing your Flock, Coop Design, etc.

Not saying you have to leave the Michigan thread just saying if you're trying to find on topic info, they might be more useful to you.

All of the little chicks have been hanging outside the coop and learning from the big hens. Whenever they hear the back door open, the big girls run up to the gate and now the little ones do the same. There is something hysterically funny about watching a chicken at a full out run.

Now that I'm home from Docent Duty maybe I can get something done around here. Or maybe just kick the dog off the couch and take a nap.

I'm really starting to think that Raz has some serious issues. First we find out about his bird fondling and now it's dog licking. I think he's spending too much time alone.
