Anyone got any good cough remedies? Besides ODing on cough suppressant (which I've taken, with little difference). I'm coughing my lungs out here, and can't seem to calm it for very long. Mint tea with honey soothed for a few minutes, a hot steamy bathroom made no difference. Going crazy coughing, I'm willing to try anything!
Stacy, Mucinex loosens the gunk in your chest and makes it easier to cough up, it is not a cough suppressant but it really makes you more comfortable and reduces the need to cough as much. I also highly recommend the whiskey (if you don't need to work, drive or operate heavy machinery).
My hatch is done!
Most exciting part...a splash showgirl!!
Also got some speckled sussex chicks in this batch, they are soooo cute. They look like little chipmunks running around.
Yay Jen!
Well I got a call from Sandhill Preservation last night - they are sending me the rose-combed colored Dorkings I ordered early this spring, as well as a few regular combed ones and a bunch of Sumatras
. I am REALLY overrun with chicks now! So I have the following offer to any BYCers that would like some nice chicks
Trio of bantam Lavender Ameraucanas - 2 hens and a sweet little roo - 1 year old
4 Red dorkings (shipped by Sandhill with the earlier order) - 6 weeks old - looks like there are both pullets and cockerels.
Norwegian Jaerhons - 6 weeks old - I would prefer to sell these as trios also, as they are very rare and it would be nice to see someone take them for breeding. They lay a large off-white egg, and are excellent foragers.
Bunch of Sumatras, I think black but not sure, which I never asked for and don't want - free!! just-hatched chicks
I am traveling to Lansing next week on Friday, and on to Indiana saturday am, so if anyone is interested and would like to meet me along the way I will be happy to transport them. PM me if you are interested.
I should also have Silkies for Chickenstock, eggs are buff, partridge, white, black, BBS and something else I don't remember now.
