Hello. Yesterday I went to Jerry's in Ada and picked up 3 blue marans chicks and 2 blue splash marans chicks. They are beautiful chicks. Feather legged just like the French standard and all. Very healthy too. Then I went on to Randy's in Muskegon and picked up some Spitzhauben chicks, Russian Orloff chicks, and some d'Anvers chicks. Oh ya, and a Golden Cuckoo marans chick. All day trip LOL.

AND, some really awesome news!!! I was sitting in the sale barn and had a sign saying I have speckled sussex and someone asked if I was the one who donated hatching eggs to the raffle last year. I told her I was and she informed me that two of the hens in the show were from those eggs and one of them had won Reserve English!!!

I love The Hogfather movie that is on Netflix and THAT is my introduction to Pratchett. My friends and family adore his stuff but I always have a list a mile long of other books I am dying to read.
