yes, those are sad little sewn pocket lines too......... lol. I'll adjust to fit since I have no idea if it'll work yet. Good use for some old blue jeans though.

I think it looks great! Cute pockets!

It has been a long day. We have gotten some very good answers in regards to my DD. I really have to say the neurology team at Helen DeVos deserve a props for being able to quickly pinpoint and focus on what is causing her ailment. They are switching her medication to one more suitable for her and she is being scheduled for an MRI and MRA due to some concerns they have over the effect the medication she was on had, but they do not believe her headaches are from a tumor. Oh, man, thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!!!
Thank goodnes!!!

The day always looks brighter with a fuzzybutt ... bantam blue opington hatched Monday

I recently discovered that Cackle Hatchery has video of each breed they offer. Pretty handy feature for those wanting to know what a chick from a particular breed looks like
Looks like you dipped him in yellow! Sooo cute!

That is hilarious. I'd get one for here but I know it would violate the sign ordinance.

When I was in court Tuesday, the ordinance officer produced a photo of my NWF "Certified Wildlife Habitat" sign and said that wildlife is not permitted in the city. I guess I should tell that to the robins nesting in my cherry tree.

Don't you just love how city employees come up with the craziest stuff to justify their jobs?
Seriously??

Yes, these are real human rooster theives. Can't talk about WHY on BYC, not permitted, but suffice it to say it's not good. :(
That is just sick!!! Like a rooster is hard to find...

Hey Laura - nice meeting you yesterday! Hope you like the maple syrup.
Hi John, It was great to meet you too. I am looking forward to having the maple syrup on my pancakes this weekend. Are you still interested in some NH's? I have two from the easter hatch...I think they are both cockerals....so is the little BA. I think I forgot to whisper to the eggs.

Question: How old do chicks have to be before they can stay outside all night? Mine are 6 weeks and want to be outside is it ok. Im so nervous to let them.
Mine have been out for a couple of weeks. I turned the light off a couple of days ago. As long as they are feathered out they should be fine and at 6 weeks they should be feathered out.

Opa, sweet baby. Safe travels tomorrow and I hope you enjoy your trip.

I have eggs hatching right now. One baby so far. And I have a vicious mean broody BR hen that was ever so happy to let me put some olive and maran eggs under her last night.

The farmers around here know more about where I go than I do

A childhood friend of mine recently moved back "home". She moved away over a decade ago, when she got married. For all those years she's lived in the city -- as in, one large enough she never had to travel more than a couple miles for anything, could walk to most things and when she did have to drive never got going over 40 miles per hour... and that was "speeding". Even though she grew up here, she said it was like coming to a completely different planet and she's especially amused by what we find to be suitable topics of conversation, such as a strange car that drove by.

PICTURES!!!!!!!!!!!

The lops no trouble at all. She lives in my daughters bedroom, and they are buddies. Her name is Cheeks. She didnt have babies, so that was a plus.

I want pictures :)
And, a boy wouldnt be nearly as much trouble as originally planned, but hopefully its a girl. :) Im about 50/50 at sexing young bunnies so I wouldnt fault you TOO much..lol

Thankfully you have the numbers wrong, or my husband may forget that 'partnership' we have and seriously blow up.

seriously, when I lived in Tennessee, my grandparents house was around the bend from my dads' ..and they would call each other to say, "look out your window- there is a strange car going down yonder..."

LOL, that's how it is down in Burr Oak.

Well, 4 of the 5 of Skeeters eggs have hatched successfully. Only 3 are left. AGAIN, on of the big girls got in there with her to lay an egg, and I think she snatched on of the fresh hatched chicks that hadn't dried and fluffed. I was late getting Skeeter separated. I don't separate her space until she's with in hatch date. But THREE DAYS EARLY except one. It is tapping inside its shell, so I guess soon. SO, I feel bad, and Skeeter was royally P.O.ed. Again she was attack mama, and while I was digging around under her trying to find the missing chick, all I found was the still wet shell and membrane, and no chick, she left chicken hickies all over my hands and arms. I was so mad I wanted to knock the hell out of the girls, but it was my fault.... WELL ANYWAY! She has 2 little blackies and 1 puffy cheeked yellow. The eaten one was a dotte mix. The other 2 are her bio chicks. The last unhatched one is another dotte mix, and the yellow puffy cheeks is a dotte mix. No faverolles under her. SO, just one fav under Skatter.

NOW, I will go back and finish reading the posts...
