[Hillbilly Hen]

Hey Laura - I've got 2 Icelandic hens with babies, PLUS I have an incubator full of babies. Best thing I ever done was to buy this cabinet incubator. Wouldn't go back to any other kind.

I have 4 living incubators right now.

I think too many folks complained about the hot weather. It's cold now

Right now at 8:35 pm. it is 65 degrees and 78% humidity. All of my chickens are huddled around the coop entrance and looking up towards the sky. There are sporadic sprinkles coming from the north that are ice cold. That is over here on this side of the state.

Raz, I think you do have a rooster. Even though I can't see it's head the rest of the body looks roosterish.

And, no Olive. At least for me today was wonderful, yesterday was Satan's Pit. I was just saying I'd take 65-70 and raining (today) over 94 and sunny (yesterday) any day of the week and literally twice on Sundays.

Busy day again. Cleaned the house because it so needed it. Helped my son clean his room, which was long overdue. Planted garden. I'm less than half done but I got in corn, sunflowers, peas, carrots, turnips, beets and 6 kinds of beans. Hopefully I'll get another chunk done tomorrow. I have a sickly acting youngster today.
