Is there any way to save baby rabbits that have been caught by cats? I know they usually die but our cats must have found a nest because they have cought at least four in the last day. I have one (the others were dead) that isn't hurt bad. I really dont like our current cats.

(these three are probably about 27, 28, and 29 on the list of cats in my life, they usually either get eaten by coyotes or hit by cars)
You have to have another rabbits morning poo for them to eat

Rabbits are made funny that way. Their guts are built backwards so they have to eat everything twice to get the nutrients. They need another rabbits poo to eat to establish good bacteria in their guts... Good luck!! Mine always get diarrhea and die

Oh yeah, and I let the kids inside because it was getting buggy out while I finished getting straw down on the beds, and the other thing that was Kataclysmed was a packet of muffin liners... I can deal with that.
You should have named them Typhoon and Tornado

Can't wait to meet them on Sunday... I am bringing my son, BF, and possibly my sis!!

Somebody is nesting in the propane tank cap! I'd think it would get too hot in there, being metal and all. So we'll see soon enough whether these become itty bitty baby birds. I actually haven't seen the parents, so my guess is a robin?

Don't you wish that Araucanas eggs were this blue?

I've had 4 hens go broodie and are setting all over the place. One is in our indoor arena behind a 15'x 60 ' banner that I have hanging across the width of the arena to keep the dust out of the stall area. One is in a horse feed in a stall. One is in the chicken coop nesting boxes and one has just gotten herself tucked aaway in a high spot where she can watch everything. This one got off her nest the other day after setting for 10 days.

I was concerned but a few hours later she was back on them the same thing with the one in the coop. These actually have already raised their chicks this spring so this is their second batch. But the one behind the banner is a RIR that I have never seen go broody. Anyway she was setting for 13 days and when I went to feed her, she was gone and the eggs were cold. She had about 10 so I picked them up and carried them into the aisleway where I preceded to crack 1 open. I appeared dead. So I didn't know what to do with the other eggs. I decided to crack another one and the same thing. It appeared dead. Then the faintest movement and I realized it was still living, cold but living. I decided to take the remaining eggs and split them up amongst the other hens. Of course they all accepted them willingly.

Later in the day I went back to check on the nest behind tha tbanner and there is my RIR setting. I gave her a little boot with my foot to get her off the nest. After attacking my leg, se ran away in an angry mood and letting everyone know se was ticked.

Overall, give me your opinion.

What breed is the broodiest?
Anything from kathyinmo.

Last year I kept wishing for a broody and none of my hens would do so. I also had a bunch of chicks sent from Kathy. One of them went broody just after laying her first egg. This year I have had 6 different girls go broody, all of them from Kathy's stock. Two BR's, one Delaware, one NH, one black ameracuana, and now a Jersey Giant. I also had another NH that was thinking about it so it probably won't be long now before she commits.

Wednesday I had 4 olive eggers and two marans hatch
