I sure hope they find that dog. I hate it when things like that happen. How about the trainer ? Did they make it?I can't even imagine. I'm compulsively updating the facebook page, hoping for news on the other.
What's ironic to me is the dog I found a couple months back, I looked everywhere for her owner, felt horrible to send her off to the shelter... no one wanted her. In the course of a couple of hours the facebook group looking for these dogs is almost 2,000 people strong. There are search parties, offers to pay for helicopters, etc, etc.

Good, glad she is ok now if they can only find the dog.Yes, they say she's alive and relatively well, all things considered. She suffered a punctured lung and some other various injuries -- though apparently nothing life threatening. She has checked herself out of the hospital and is on the way back to the crash site / base camp to join the search teams. I'm thinking she's going to be one sore woman when all this adrenaline wears off ... and that on top of the emotional shock she's going through.
