I don't suppose anyone here is good with Michigan turtles? Anyone know what this is?

He's just a little shaver, if he's largely hamless I'll set him back free. If he's a snapper or something that's going to harm the waterfowl then, probably not so much.

Sadly I'm not up on my herps.

The thinks kids do while they are on the toilet! Or we think they are on the pot. When my nephew comes over I have to make sure he does not go inn the bathroom by himself because he puts TP in the fish bowl

My son punched him in the eye yesterday... I wasn't happy about it, but I was kinda proud he gave that little stinker back what he had been dishing out for years!

Gave the little chicks some sand in a frizbee lastnight. The little ones crop was so hard and I thought he could use a little grit to help him out. They love it. Weren't sure at first, but now it is good fun scratching all that sand everywhere. I even hid some mealworms in there!!! Bonus!
The 3 week old (Noodle Soup) is an awesome bug finder and catcher! Noodle loves earwigs the best... Fine by me we have more than enough to fill that belly a million times over!

Going to go re-rig my pully system for the pop door... Maybe cuddle some uggos!

BF said you can go if you finish your chores?? How old are you that you need permisson to go??

Hrm, this does not bode well then. While his nose isn't hooked it is pretty pointy.

I'm missing 2 ducks. Well I was missing 2 ducks Saturday night after dark but then one turned up all day Sunday but they're both nowhere to be seen now. I have no idea if they've just decided to set on their hidden nest or if something got them. The presence of a snapping turtle baby makes me doubt a hidden nest (though the scovies are extremely secretive about everything it seems.)

Anyone want a snapping turtle baby? Are they good eating? After how long?

I'll take him.
They are good eating but they need to be a lot bigger to make a decent meal.

mom2-Do you know if any of them are hens? I don't know how to tell the diff with silkies at all! And... is the brown one part polish? The black silkie is beautiful and doesn't seem to mind being handled.

Hopefully most of them are pullets!!!!!! The only one I am pretty sure is NOT, is the little black Polish Uggo. And I say that because of its red comb.
Im pretty sure the brown one is a pullet. Looks exactly like the pullets that Randy took from me. No, not part Polish. Part frizzle. Without the frizzle.
ANDDD the Silkie is a sweetie. I was told cant sex silkies, etc until they either crow or lay an egg, lol. Thats been my luck, anyhow.

(unfortunately, I won't be able to catch 2 of the bantams, yes, I already decided that that will be impossible, the two that won't run away from me. Yeah, those two, I just cant seem to catch!

BYFM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

yayayayayayay...Im glad you are coming!!!

Now...
be careful hanging out by Therons and RIRJens table....resistance is SOOOOOOOOOOO hard to come by...chickenmath takes over....

thats what I was going to say..

Pretty sure you guys are right at this point. I moved it into a dog dish with some old lettuce and some apple halves that he could use to eat or crawl out on if it needed to get out of the water. It was sitting there with its nose out of the water ignoring all that, just using it to hide underneath. Once the consensus seemed snapper I dropped a few nuggets at the bottom of my frozen chicken thigh bag in the water and went to the store.

Came back and it's got one of the pieces in its mouth and while the chicken piece seems too big for it, is doing a pretty good job of shredding it with its feet (and not, for a second, letting it out of its mouth even when it has to come up to breathe).

Ugh, I just hope that my missing ducks are sitting on nests and not in the stomach of its mother.

Thanks for the ID.
