Hello all fellow Michiganders! Does anyone happen to have any runner, magpie,ancona, or harlequin ducks for sale? I just got the ok to add a few newbies to my flock I treat my babies like pets and want some more to spoil!

She is always looking for eggs, especially turkey eggs so if anyone has some to give I'll bring them back for her.

I may have some turkey eggs, any tips on how to clean them out?



I finally got my parents shower enclosure done at midnight last night. Man that grout can eat up your hands! But it looks good and they're happy! The glass tile is really nice and I hope to use some similar in my place. All that dad has to do is some caulking and install the hardware!

Bob, put the camera in a large ziplock bag half full of uncooked white rice, seal it, and leave it alone for a few days. Turning electronics on before they are completely dried out can ruin them permanently.

Nova and Snowflake, okay on the Duke dog proof trap and setter. Thanks for the quick replies. Assuming the price on the website is the same as DH paid total is just under $17 including tax. Only $3 something for Opa .'cause he's only buying the setter. I'll ask DH when he gets back inside, he's getting ready to whack a duckling. I hide inside till he's done.

And to think, I can shoot deer.

Got one other set I'll bring with me in case anyone else wants to check them out in person.

Looks nice Thursday on - 70's. Ice bottles for my rabbits for the next two days.

Oh boy, my freezer would die if I tried to do frozen bottles for all my rabbits! lol I usually keep a few on hand so if anyone is having issues with the heat, but don't give them to everyone. I hope this year isn't a repeat of last with the high temps! I lost a couple very nice rabbits to the heat last year
While I'm at work my husband is on hot weather duty. If the temp gets to 90* the sprinkler gets turned on to cool the barn.

No cleaning, probably the same as the chicken eggs I give her. There is some special cleaning process she does so she asks that I give her the chicken eggs as-is. So she's happy to get dirty eggs and I'm happy not to throw them out. Glambka will be so excited if you bring some for her. With the rain coming down, reading is the only endeavor that makes much sense to me. In the book I'm currently reading the protagonist speaks about a veterinarian who has a taxidermy shop in one half of his building and the vet clinic in the other. He has a single sign to advertise both that is probably on of the best signs I've hear of. "Either way you get your dog back"

Opa that is sooooo funny!! What are you reading? By the way my daughter is a librarian and she tells me all about the new books that I ought to read. I am so busy right now I have no time. Plus lately I have been falling asleep reading.
