I was looking at the pictures for Chickenstock and it was stated that it was difficult to get a picture of me that wasn't blurry because I was a moving target. From the pictures that did get posted I can only say it was probably a good thing that they were blurry. If not there would have been even more of the pictures showing an old scary lookin' old man.

Opa, you are not a scary lookin' old man, but a handsome cowboy in my book, I just wish I would have talked to you more, loved the chicken!

Kimmie, the second picture of Tommy is classic ACD! Check out Jiilaroo, if she knows the camera is pointed that way she folds her ears back too. Last night the duck was chasing her around the yard - would have made for some good pictures but I was laying in the grass without my camera.

MOM! I told you Clover was a sweetie! I hope she's the Flemish Giant you wanted. I probably will be getting Big Guy and Big Mama together in late August for a late September/early October litter. At the same time I'll introduce my new Trixie to Big Guy for her first litter. Good times.

Griffin and Ann- Yes! I got a pair!!!

I had them DNA sexed from a shell membrane.
They are a month old now, and Griffin is almost 2 feet tall!

Little Ann is half of his size, I think that is cuz she hatched out of a small egg.

But, they run soooo fast! They came running when I call them, and follow me around, while I am doing my chores.

I got 7!!!

I will post the the pictures tomorrow.

I just can't believe that! So sorry about that RaZ.

Congrats on the peachicks Daron. If I remember right yours are white aren't they ? I love the white ones and one day will have a pair of my own. love the Emu's too. I always said I was going to get more of them but never had. They are cool birds.

Sue why are you keeping track of the egg sizes? What else is in the binder of yours?

It might have been Sue who posted a picture of eggs in cartons with dates and weights on them last fall. Said it was done for her customers, if I remember correctly.

Anyway, I started doing the same thing and then used that for one of my class projects. I'm still doing it.
I like noodling with numbers and so far this calendar year, my hems have laid 520 eggs with a grand total weight of 28465 grams.

In my binder, I have lots of information on keeping chickens in the suburbs and changes to ordinances. It is going with to see the judge in about an hour.
