Hey, that is good news Keyt. Still a very risky situation until the suspect surrenders.
It's 5pm and he's still barricaded. They have the helicopter and several fire vehicles at the high school and a bunch of cops sitting in lawn chairs in a big circle. The road is closed down that way but fortunately it doesn't affecting us going to town. Usually when these things last this long it doesn't end well

Well, one of my new chicks has this weird cough/hiccup thing going on. Every 10-20 seconds it makes this weird noise, its whole head jerks when it makes it, and it sounds just a bit......gurgle-y? It's also panting, even though it's not directly under the light, and none of the other chicks appear to be too warm. I've been putting acv in the waterer since we got them (Saturday night), and they're on medicated feed. Anyone have any ideas? I might see if I can grab a video if needed.

It wasn't doing this at 2pm. Now, at 530, it is.

Well, they are quite the family group now... The dottes have taken to Snow bunny as their new mama, including snuggling to her and preening her. Very funny.

Sorry it's weird looking... And all the white it so bright... I have been trying to figure out how to adjust this new camera. But the blaring white, that's the hen I got from Mom2

Well thank God for that and that nobody was hurt. Just set Jenny's eggs in the bator. Was in looking at my month old black copper Marans. Boy are they getting pretty.
If they get too big for your house I have room over here!

This place is going to look really weird once I send the seniors to their retirement home. But Aric already knows it won't last long LOL

What kind of camera do you have? Is it a DSLR or a P&S? Looks like your ISO is too low, if you can find that you can probably solve it. The higher the ISO number the brighter the photo will be, dependent upon your other settings. If you need help just ask. =)

I drove about 200 miles today in all kinds of rain. As cloudy and misty as it was here all day, there was no measurable accumulation in my rain gauges.

I also planted a tree and the soil was so dry. At least it is cooler.
