Can anyone tell me if this black feathered girl is a guy? Hatched Feb 12th of this year. My rooster doesn't like "her" and "she's" mean to the other hens. All my chickens are the same age by one week. I ordered them and all are suppose to be hens. Thank you

Yes they do and apparently l have other interest hahaha. Just never could get into the Suzy Homemaker role.

My husband and I both enjoy cooking, for a while there, before having kids, we cooked together at a restaurant. Which is a different story, and what my point really was, is that, if anyone should ever like to call me "Suzy Homemaker" I would be happy to whip them up a nice, fresh knuckle sandwich.

Well that's your right and your opinion, which you are entitled to but I would rather clean out a barn with 50 stalls in it than to cook. I don't like it, I have never liked it, and I never will like it. That is what restraunts are for. People who like to cook and people like me that don't.

I'm feeling like I may have come across the wrong way... I was not in any way trying to criticize you for not enjoying cooking! I was just saying that I would punch anyone in the eye who called me Suzy Homemaker simply for cooking.

I do? Wait, I don't even remember posting food here, have I?! Not that I don't like to make food porn and all, lol. But oh, when I worked in the restaurant, I used to take great pains and great pleasure in the presentation of the food. I genuinely feel that it makes a real and big difference in how enjoyable people perceive the food to be. And I got compliments left and right for it, so it must have made some difference! Desserts were some of my favourites, not just because they were fun to make, but because they were made by the waitrons, not the cooks, (I did both there,) so you got to bring it out to people yourself and see their faces. Oh the fun, loopy, intricate looking designs you can make with carefully drizzled chocolate syrup!

I think my broody Uggo is finally broken. I took her off the nest in early afternoon and she ranged with the others all day.
I'm so glad that is over.
