I missed the leadup to this post, but what a novel idea.Froze them first and then added the sticks?
How did you make and attach the star? Thanks!
p.s. This is what I am talking about - only reprinting what you have to reprint to make your point.![]()

Bob- If you need some eggs I can give you some. I didn't have any when you asked before but I have Marans eggs right now if you want some.Easy to say.... not so easy to do for some of us.
AMEN!!Okay. Thank goodness it is not cocci!
My advice is...
Sit down with her and look at craigslist for jobs. Maybe she doesn't think she qualifies for any jobs. Look for receptionist jobs at salons if she likes beauty... pet salons if she likes animals. Start simple. Maybe she is overwhelmed by job ads...
If that doesn't work...
Give her no money, wash none of her clothes, buy her nothing...

I am going to wait until late fall/winter to see if they go on sale at all.Trying to figure out when I should buy an incubator, and when I should plan for some eggs to hatch (since DH said he would build a larger coop in August/Sept). Should I start with some cheap eggs, and have chickens that I potentially don't care for (breed-wise) or just go for it with some moderately-priced eggs of the type I *do* want to have?
The weather is making up for missing us the past few storms! The rain system is centered on my area, and while the arm of it rotates, the middle just sits over our county. My flowers are already perking up! Looked out the front window this morning and saw the real testament to the stress on the plants this summer: my maple tree is turning orange at the top already. Of course, all this rain means that we'll probably be slammed at work tonight,
but by 10 I'll probably be more like
. It also means I'm not going out to pick tomato worms.....who knows how much damage they'll do by tomorrow.![]()
