I see that your clean-out door is behind your roost. Will your roost be on hinges to lift for easier cleaning?

You got it. There will be a lip that the back edge sets into and can pivot on, then a rope, chain or whatever on both the left and right to hold it at the desired (adjustable) height. This allows me to simply pull on the rope and raise the roosts for cleaning under it.

They're called deck piers and can be found at Lowes or Homedepot.
