I'm really too new at this to give much advice, but the egg that pipped at the wrong end for me as I peeled back some of the membrane I saw red veins so I put it back in the bator and am leaving alone. I read somewhere that it means they aren't done absorbing the yolk sack.
I'm so excited all 4 of my silkie eggs have hatched and I'm just waiting on my two turken eggs which should hatch in a few days. This is the silkie cross crew.

Thanks... that is what I thought but I had put a reminder in my phone( in the beginning) that said today was the lockdown date...I thought maybe I had missed counted then but wanted to make sure. I didn't want any to hatch with the turner still going.
Glad your little ones waited on you & you got to see one hatch. I hope mine hatch on the weekend so I can see it. That was my plan but I don't think the eggs know that!!
