Mid march hatch a long

awesome...my daughter got to see one hatch completely, I did catch two hatching at the same time on video. All of ours but 2 hatched at night. Love how they flop out upside down!

My eggs started hatching today! I came home and there was a hole in my serama egg and I could see the tip of it's beak. Then there are three brown eggs wobbling around and my ameraucana egg hatched! My kids watched it all! This is all our first time every seeing an egg hatch so it was very exciting!

hatched 21 healthy chicks out of 36 eggs. not great but 8 were infertile and 5 pipped but didn't make it out. pretty good for a first timer!! great job everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i have 3 peeping...small starter hole.

How long does it take for them to hatch? When i left for work this morning only one had cracked its shell. in 8 hours it now only has a small hole?
it is day 20 of 21

they hatched on Friday, 6 died all of the sudden, started flopping around and died within about 5 min

I'm so sorry. Thats so sad. How many you had? I'm fighting to keep alive one. Really sorry.

I only had 9 to begin with. The other 3 are sleeping, so I'm hoping they are ok. I hope your little one is ok.
