Middleboro, Ma Poultry Show Nov.22

Shay20: I'm not picky. I was looking for a good egg layer, and the fam got a kick out of possibly getting blue eggs. As for the japanese bantam, i just think they're pretty.

I'm only going to be in the market for about 6 chicks all female if possible. If not I'll take nonsexed chicks, but not before I know i have homes for any of the boys.

Usschicago: I'm 95% sure I'm going to the show (because chickens are fun, and I'm sure to pass a Bertucci's on the way). I'm definately interested in meeting up with that bantam breeder though. Although I would definately only want hens and I only want 1 or 2. not picky about color although black or white w/ black tails would be wicked awesome.

We use the coop cup too, but in a pinch we also bring the clear heavy plastic drinking cups we bought at a grocery store in RI, I'm sure walmart would have them too, (we were at the Little Rhody show and ran out of her gray ones) now we bring them as a back up in case we run out of the others, with all the birds Sarah enters we never have enough
smile.png
Also bring some clothes pins in case the wire holder on the cage isn't tight enough and use those to hold the cup in place. Also the pet shops sometimes have the small clip or screw on cups for caged birds that I have seen people use and they seem to work well too

Her Buff Silkie gets a bottle she plays bobbing for food at the bottom of a full water cup and you should see her topnot when she is done, not a pretty sight...

Looking foward to meeting you guys...

hey all else fails, use heavy coffie cups, i bring a few just incase,
i always use them when i go to sell birds, lol

But at the shows they always have the plastic small cups that attach to the cages, any one can use them.
